Hematology Research Interest Group Overview
Zebrafish are an ideal model for studying many aspects of the hematologic (blood) system. These include the spatio-temporal onset of hematopoiesis and mechanisms governing stem and progenitor cell expansion and/or differentiation, as well as disorders of blood cells, platelets, and clotting.
